Logistics & Global Operations
Seamless Supply Starts with Smart Logistics
At Trade Avenue, logistics is more than transportation — it's the backbone of every successful commodity trade. We manage and execute complex shipping and handling operations to ensure that every product arrives securely, on time, and exactly as specified.
From vessel coordination and port clearance to tank storage and last-mile delivery, our logistics operations are built to move bulk commodities across the globe with precision.
Tankers and VCLLs for diesel, fuel oil, and crude
Dry bulk vessels for sugar, grains, soybeans, and corn
"We don’t just ship commodities.
We deliver promises, documented and secured."
From Origin to Destination
We operate across major global ports, including Rotterdam, Jebel Ali, Santos, Shanghai, and others. Our team coordinates all logistics activities, including:
Chartering of Vessels (including VLCCs, Panamax, Handymax, and bulk sugar vessels)
Port handling & storage
Tank-to-tank and vessel-to-tank deliveries
Container and bulk cargo management
Our priority is traceability, efficiency, and cost-effective operations — from the moment goods leave the supplier until they reach the final customer.
Agricultural Shipping Methods
FOB (Free On Board): We handle loading at origin port, buyer takes over at shipment.
CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight): We manage end-to-end including freight and insurance.
FOB
FOB (Free On Board) is an international shipping term that defines the point at which the ownership and responsibility of goods transfer from the seller to the buyer. Under FOB shipment terms, the seller is responsible for all costs and risks up to the point the goods are loaded onto the shipping vessel at the designated port of origin.
Once the cargo is on board, the buyer assumes responsibility for transportation, insurance, unloading, and any further delivery. This term is widely used in global trade to clarify logistics and liability during shipping.
CIF
CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) is an international trade term where the seller assumes responsibility for the cost of goods, insurance, and freight to deliver the cargo to the buyer’s designated port of destination.
Ship-to-Ship

FOB (Free On Board): We handle loading at origin port, buyer takes over at shipment.

Oil & Gas Shipping Methods
Ship to Ship
Ship-to-Ship (STS) transfer is the process of transferring crude oil or refined petroleum products directly from one vessel to another while at sea or anchored in a designated area. This operation is commonly used for logistical efficiency, storage optimization, or to facilitate trade between large ocean-going tankers and smaller coastal or regional ships.
In an STS operation, two tankers are securely moored alongside each other, and specialized hoses and fenders are deployed to ensure a safe and controlled transfer of liquid cargo. These operations are conducted under strict international safety protocols and are often supervised by qualified STS transfer masters or marine experts.
Tank-to-Tank
Tank-to-tank transfer refers to the controlled movement of liquid petroleum products, such as crude oil, diesel, or other refined fuels, between storage tanks within a terminal, refinery, or onboard a ship. This internal transfer is essential for operational efficiency, inventory management, blending, quality control, and preparation for loading or delivery.
Tank-to-Vessel
Tank-to-Vessel transfer refers to the loading of petroleum products, such as diesel, gasoline, or crude oil, from onshore storage tanks directly onto a marine vessel, typically an oil tanker. This operation is a critical part of the fuel supply chain and is carried out at terminals, refineries, or dedicated port facilities.
During the process, the product is pumped from land-based tanks through a system of pipelines and loading arms or flexible hoses to the vessel's cargo tanks. The operation is closely monitored to ensure:
Refinery-to-vessel transfer is the process of loading petroleum products—such as diesel (e.g., EN 590), gasoline, jet fuel, or crude oil—directly from a refinery’s storage and distribution system onto a marine vessel for export or regional shipment.
This operation involves a series of coordinated steps:
Refining & Storage: The product is processed and stored in large refinery tanks.
Transfer System: Pipelines, loading arms, and booster pumps move the product from the storage tanks to the jetty or dock.
Loading Operation: The vessel is moored at the refinery’s port terminal, and the cargo is loaded into its designated tanks using high-capacity pumps and monitored flow systems.
Monitoring & Documentation: Throughout the process, quality checks, volume measurements, and safety protocols are strictly enforced, often overseen by independent surveyors.
